Cooking Sessions

About the Bicycle Project

Helping local families get on their bikes! The project encourages young people and their families to cycle as a regular mode of transport and for leisure. Men In Sheds

The men in sheds project is run by JOY – Just Older Youth. The project is based in a fully kitted-out workshop in the grounds of the Somerville adventure playground. “Shedders” can start their own projects, join in making things with other “Shedders” or create things for the community.   Activities include: woodworking – inter-generational skills sharing – socialising. Mosaic

An art mosaic project for adults meets at Somerville every Wednesday. The group spends one term learning the skills and techniques of this ancient art resulting in an individual piece of work.
